As of the 15th April, 2015 registering for a PIC has become mandatory for Victorian growers with 20 or more chestnut trees
To date 9 growers have voluntarily registered
PICs will improve the reach and speed of communications with growers, especially with changes in regulations
Identify where growers are, improve estimates on the size of the industry and improve efficiency of surveillance
