“Soil Biology for Nut Jobs” by Dr Uwe Stroeher
Dr Uwe Stroeher is the Head of R&D for Neutrog Australia.
Neutrog are leading developers of biologically active products including bio-fertilisers, bio-controls and bio-stimulants.
Our R&D department work closely with industry groups, commercial partners and directly with growers to improve health through targeted biological solutions.
In this presentation, Dr Uwe covers the fundamentals of soil biology in practical, commonsense language.
He goes through the balance needed between the physical, chemical and biological properties required for optimum performance and how each of these factors influence the others.
With existing trials underway in tree crops, Uwe will also speak about specific examples of applications of biological products to address tree stress.
The talk concludes with a Q&A session which includes Tom Shearer, General Manager of Commercial for any product specific questions.
